BOUVARDIA
Bouvardia humboldli

Flowers Late fall
Potting or re-potting time March
Position in garden during summer Sun
Potting Mixture 5

A tropical American shrub with fine foliage and beautiful, tubular white flowers nearly 3 inches long; they very fragrant. The plant grows to a height of 4 feet, but a houseplant is generally smaller.

Sun, plenty of water, and a temperature of 60-65 degree provide good growing conditions.

When Bouvardia is plunged in the garden late in May it should be pinched back to form a bushy specimen. Return it to the house before any danger of frost.
